Manufactured from Case Hardened 1018 with black oxide finishing and top hex hole, Eagle Screw Caps are designed with quality in mind and can be used with conventional or "drop-in" gas springs.
Eagle Screw Caps are easy to use and save time in basic die assembly, disassembly and maintenance operations. While providing these benefits for quick run dies, screw caps are also ideal in long run dies where maintenance is crucial and on-going.

What They Are
Eagle Screw Caps are case hardened steel screws, threaded over their entire length, center hex cavity for application, black oxide finish for corrosion resistance.
How They Work
Noble Die Components' Eagle Screw Caps are used to hold die springs fast against the stripper plate. Instead of containing the die spring within a blind hole or spring well, the Eagle Screw Cap retains springs from threaded recesses in the top surface of the punch plate.
Advantages
Eagle Screw Caps eliminates blind spring pockets. This means that individual springs within the die can be changed out without having to remove the stripper plate. Should the stripper plate need to be removed for die maintenance the pressure on the stripper plate can be relieved by unscrewing the Eagle Screw Caps from the top of the die set. This saves time and results in fewer damaged or broken punches.
